The Colosseum, one of the biggest shopping malls in Europe by the end of construction works, is proud to announce the opening of the Carrefour hypermarket within its retail park.

Besides the 53,000 sq m retail park, The Colosseum will comprise one of Europe’s most magnificent malls, with over 137,000 sq m and 480 shops.

The contruction works of the mall, which will be delivered in several phases, will start in the autumn of 2012 and will be finalized in 2016. The total investment in the Colosseum project is of 350 million Euro.

„We are now preparing for the second phase of the project, the mall, which was designed so as to allow maximum flexibility in terms of space arrangement. Thus, retailers will be able to obtain spaces of the exact size they want, which will allow them to make available their entire range of products, which does not usually happen in Romanian commercial centers,” says Panayi.
